Molded and engraved pewter. Spouted jug with a slightly convex cylindrical body, a truncated conical base, and a tall neck, ending in a spout with raised vegetal decoration. The body is decorated with engraved floral and geometric motifs and features two anthropomorphic heads in high relief as lateral decorative elements. Made of high-quality pewter, the piece reveals meticulous craftsmanship in the engraving and modeling, highlighting the delicacy of the ornamental details. Its typology corresponds to the ceremonial or utilitarian jugs typical of 17th-century Central European households, used both for serving beverages and for domestic display. The balance of its silhouette, the rich ornamentation, and its excellent state of preservation make this piece an outstanding example of German metalwork from the Baroque period.
